BoothPoint incorporates an internal messaging system where users can leave and receive memos to each other.
Add a new
Memo
Tap or click the NEW MEMO
button at the top of the form.
Select who the memo is for in
the To: field. This can be to multiple
staff members.
(Start typing the name and the staff member will
pop up)
If you need to add any
attachments, tap or click the Add button
next to the Attached field.
(Browse for any document, picture etc and click
Open)
Enter in a subject line for the
memo.
Type the memo text.
Tap or click the Save
button to save and close.
Tip
Once you creating a new memo, it
automatically inserts a signature of:
Regards,
Staff Name
Note
As soon as the staff members login
to either the Back Office or ePOS a popup message
appears saying the have an unread memo. At this
point they can tap or click to read the message.
Mark Message
as Read
The memo will keep popping up unread unless
the staff member marks the memo as read. This is so that the
club can sign off and check who read what message and when.
Tap or click the memo in the
left hand list of unread memos.
Tap or click the button named
Mark as Read.
The staff member will be
prompted to enter their pin code to verify it is
that staff member.
The memo will disappear and be
moved into the READ MEMOS.
View a Memo
On the list in left hand side tap or click
on a memo, the details will appear on the right. To open an
attachment, tap or click on a attachment in the list and tap
or click the Open button, this will open the
document, picture etc in the defaulted Windows program.
View Read and
Sent Memos
The default list on the left hand side
automatically shows UNREAD MEMOS. Tap or click the options
at the top of the list, this will show UNREAD MEMOS,
READ MEMOS and SENT MEMOS. Select one of the
options and the list will change to the new choice.
Print Memo
Select a memo in the left hand
list.
Tap or click the button named
PRINT MEMO at the top of the memo.
The memo will appear in a
printable format, tap or click the Print
button
